Frustrated by the absence of viable therapies, he immersed himself in scientific research, seeking to unlock new pathways for treatment. His determination led him to uncover critical insights into thyroid hormone transport and metabolism, laying the groundwork for an approach that has the potential to change the lives of those affected by this devastating disorder.

 

His scientific contributions were not only innovative but also deeply compassionate - rooted in the belief that every patient, no matter how rare their condition, deserves hope.
